Edit and Clone

The Clone and Edit features allow you to manage clients already registered in Autosky, making it easier to create new structures and maintain existing settings.

Cloning is used to create a new client from an already configured one, reducing the time needed for recurring configurations. Editing, on the other hand, allows you to update registration information and operational settings, ensuring that the client remains aligned with the environment's needs.

Both options are available in the Actions menu of the client list.

Clone Client

The cloning feature allows you to create a new client using the settings of an existing client as a template.

This feature is useful when different clients need to share the same configuration structure, reducing registration time and minimizing inconsistencies.

During cloning, the settings associated with the source client are copied, including administrative and operational parameters.

How to clone a client:

  1. Access the Actions menu of the desired client.

  2. Select the Clone option.

  3. Enter the name of the new client.

  4. Click Clone to complete the process.

After confirmation, the new client will be created using the selected client's settings as a reference.

Edit Client

The editing feature allows you to update the settings of an already registered client.

By selecting the Edit option, the client settings screen will be displayed, where administrative information, access options, interface, and authentication settings can be changed.

Client Information

The basic information section gathers the main identification data of the client.

  • Client Name: Defines the name used to identify the client on the platform.

  • Client External Code: Code used for external identification of the client and related integrations.

  • Administrator Email: Email address of the administrative person responsible for the client.

  • Environment: Environment to which the client is linked.

  • Security Group: Field automatically generated by the platform for permission and access control. The composition of this group uses partner information, the client's name, and a unique identifier. Changes made to the client's name are automatically reflected in the group's identification.

Access Settings

The available options allow you to define the access behavior for users linked to the client.

  • Always copy the administrator on email communications: Automatically includes the registered administrator in communications sent by the platform.

  • Block multiple sessions for the same user: Prevents the same user from having more than one active session simultaneously.

  • Use iOS devices: Allows the use of the platform on devices compatible with the iOS operating system.

  • Remote profile: Enables specific settings for using remote resources.

  • Enable MFA for all users: Requires multi-factor authentication for all users linked to the client, increasing access security.

Interface

Allows you to define the visual experience used by the client's users.

  • Use the same interface as the client's account: Automatically maintains the default interface configured for the account.

  • Configure Interface: Allows you to select a specific interface when the default configuration is not used.

Virtualizer

Controls the technology used for making applications available.

  • Use the same virtualizer as the environment: Maintains the default configuration defined for the environment. When disabled, it becomes possible to select a specific virtualizer and define the corresponding communication port.

DUO Authentication

The integration with DUO allows adding an additional layer of security through multi-factor authentication. When enabling this feature, the parameters provided by the service must be configured:

  • Client ID;

  • Client Secret;

  • Host.

It is also possible to enable the contingency option that allows user login in case of temporary unavailability of the DUO service.

Notes

The notes section can be used to record additional information related to the client, facilitating future administrative queries.

Saving Changes

After making the desired changes:

  1. Review the configured information.

  2. Click Save.

The changes will be applied to the client immediately.
