Manage Access Restrictions

The Access Restrictions tab allows you to configure blocks and limitations for the client environment, ensuring a higher level of control and security. Through this interface, you can define strict rules stipulating when or from where the system can be accessed, preventing logins outside of business hours or from unknown networks.

The screen is divided into two main configuration panels. To enable or disable any of the restrictions, simply click the toggle switch located in the top right corner of each frame. Upon activating it (turning green), the corresponding configuration fields will be unlocked for input.

By schedule

This panel allows you to block access to the system during predetermined time windows. You can configure multiple policies simultaneously (such as "Restriction rule 1" and "Restriction rule 2"), allowing greater flexibility for different days. Each rule contains:

  • Days of the week: A row with circular selectors (S, M, T, W, T, F, S) representing the days from Sunday to Saturday. You must select the letters corresponding to the days when the blocking rule will be applied.

  • Start restriction: A field accompanied by a clock icon where you define the exact time system access will be interrupted (e.g., 20:00).

  • End restriction: A field to set the time the block ends and the system becomes available again (e.g., 06:00).

  • Time zone: A drop-down menu to select the reference time zone (such as America/Sao_Paulo). This ensures the block is executed at the correct time for the company's operations, regardless of the end user's geographic location.

By IP address

This second panel focuses on network-level security. When enabled, it allows administrators to configure rules to restrict access based on the source IP of the person attempting to log in. This is useful for ensuring the environment is accessed only from secure networks or trusted corporate IPs.

Confirming configurations

After making any modifications to the security rules, use the buttons located in the bottom right corner of the screen:

  • Save: Green button that must be clicked to confirm, save, and immediately apply the newly configured restrictions.

  • Cancel: White button that allows you to discard unsaved edits and return the screen to its previous configuration state.
