Micro environment
The Micro Environment in Skyone Autosky is a simplified and highly centralized infrastructure model designed for specific scenarios. Unlike the Scaling architecture (which distributes resources on demand), the Micro Environment typically consists of a single machine that runs both the applications and, in many cases, the database.
Because it is a centralized structure, it has a unique management dynamic: general options to bulk lock or unlock instances are not available directly on the dashboard, since all operations and resources are concentrated on this single machine.
Additionally, this model offers a significant operational advantage: it does not require publishing a technical image to create templates, allowing you to add the template manually and directly through Skyone Autosky.
Key Features and Benefits
Optimized Structure: It is the ideal choice for scenarios with lower access density, perfectly suited for operations with 4 to 10 active licenses.
Independent Management: Allows you to configure the behavior of the application and support servers separately, using automated scheduling bots to optimize the machine's operational routine.
Advanced Security: This type of environment fully supports Zero Trust functionality, ensuring a strict layer of protection where only users properly authenticated through the portal can access the machine.
Flexible Access: The environment's connectivity can be tailored to your company's policies, allowing access via both public IPs and secure private networks (VPNs).
The following sections cover the features and settings you will find when managing a Micro Environment:
