Scaling environment instances
The Instances screen allows you to view and manage the resources responsible for running applications within an environment. Here, you can monitor instance status, view operational details, and perform administrative actions related to application access and support.
In addition to displaying information such as IP addresses, resource utilization, and active sessions, the page provides features to assist with environment administration and application validation.
This section covers the primary features available for instances, including session management, connection testing, administrative access, security settings, and detailed instance information.
The instance table displays the following information:
Instance: The name of the instance responsible for running applications and services within the environment.
Public IP: The IP address used to access the instance over the internet, when available.
Private IP: The IP address used for internal communication between network resources.
CPU: The percentage of processor utilization for the instance.
Memory (MEM): The percentage of available memory utilization on the instance.
Status: Indicates the current state of the instance, such as active, unavailable, or initializing.

Actions available on the Instances screen:
Perform a startup test.
Manage sessions.
Connect as.

Below is the step-by-step guide for performing each of these actions in Scaling environments:
Sessions
In the "Sessions" modal, you can view all users connected to the instance and terminate active connections if necessary.
To open the Sessions modal:
Click on ‘Sessions’ in the three dots next to the selected instance.
The modal will be displayed, showing the active sessions on the instance.

To terminate a session:
Click on the red icon next to the user you want to disconnect.

Opening Test
The Opening Test allows operators to quickly and securely validate application access, simulating a client's login experience without requiring additional configurations. This feature is useful for verifying application functionality, validating permissions, and assisting with support and diagnostic activities.
Through this test, you can select the desired client and define whether the access will use a temporary user or an existing one, ensuring greater flexibility during validations.
To perform an opening test, follow these steps:
Click the three dots icon next to the desired instance.
Select Opening Test.
In the pop-up window, choose the client to test.
Select whether to use a temporary user or an existing user.
Click Connect to start the test.

Ensure you select the correct client before starting the test.
Option availability may vary depending on user permissions and environment settings.
The opening test is designed to validate application access and functionality before end users access it.
Connect as Administrator
The Connect as Administrator feature allows authorized operators to securely access an instance to perform support, validation, and environment administration tasks. Access is granted using the credentials previously configured for the instance, eliminating the need to allow IP addresses directly on the server.
This feature was developed to provide more secure and controlled access to environments, simplifying the connection process for operations and support teams.
To connect as an administrator, follow these steps:
Click the three dots icon next to the desired instance.
Select Connect as.
Enter your Autosky portal password.
Click Connect.

After authentication, you will be redirected to the instance's user screen, where you can view available applications and start the connection.
Use the same password registered for Skyone Autosky access.
Feature availability depends on user permissions.
Some connections may require prior installation and configuration of the necessary remote access components.
Access is granted using the credentials associated with the instance, ensuring greater security and operational traceability.
Security - Zero Trust
Zero Trust is a security feature in Autosky that allows you to use a firewall to block network service ports on instances that were previously open to the internet, and open them on demand as Autosky users or operators access the instances.
Zero Trust authorization to access an instance is applied when:
The environment is configured to use Zero Trust.
The environment/client is configured to use a public IP.
To check if your instances have Zero Trust enabled, hover over the shield icon on the desired instance:

Instance Details
To view detailed information about an instance, click on it in the instance list. A details panel will open, displaying data such as:
Instance name
IP addresses (public and private)
Instance ID
Platform version
Startup and operational status

In this panel, you can also perform actions on the instance, such as:
Additionally, the panel shows the instance's session history.
