Creating an Agent Flow
The Agent Flow feature allows you to build custom interaction flows using visual components such as messages, agents, and buttons. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for creating and configuring a flow.
You’ll find the following sections below:
Accessing the Feature: How to start creating a new flow
Whiteboard Interface: Overview of the main elements in the editing screen
Flow Creation Suggestion: A practical example of how to structure a flow with agents and messages
Additional Whiteboard Features: Extra tools for editing and analyzing your flow
Accessing the Feature
You can start creating a flow in two ways:
From the side menu, by selecting the “Agent Flow” option
From the top-right corner, by clicking directly on “Agent Flow”
For both options, follow the steps below:
Click the Create Flow button
In the creation window:
Select a representative image for the flow
Enter a name for the flow
Add a clear and concise description
Click Create Flow to proceed
Whiteboard Interface
Once created, the flow editing interface—called the Whiteboard—will open. This is where you visually build the agent’s logic.
Toolbar
Located on the left side of the whiteboard, the toolbar offers the following features:
Modules: Contains the building blocks of the flow, such as messages, buttons, and agents.
Selection Tool: Allows you to select and edit components within the flow.
Move Tool: Used to navigate the whiteboard area by dragging the screen.
Flow Creation Suggestion
Below is a basic example of how to structure a functional flow:
Welcome Message
Click Modules
Then click on Build Guide
Select Message
In the text field, enter a greeting like: “Welcome! How can I help you?”
Adding an Agent
Still under Modules, select the agent responsible for the interaction
If the flow includes multiple agents, use Buttons to segment the support paths
Example:
Financial Support Agent
Sales Support Agent
Connecting Modules
Use the “+” icon found in each module to connect the elements in the flow (messages, buttons, agents).
Flow Testing
After configuring your flow, click Manual Execution to simulate its behavior and validate the logic applied.
