Data Lake

Through the “Data Lake” you can browse and manage files, which are listed with the following details:

  • Item name

  • Status

  • Item size

  • Source

  • Created on

How to access

You can access the Data Lake in two ways:

  • From the top menu: In any area of Skyone Studio, click the Data Lake option in the upper-right corner of the screen.

  • From the left sidebar: When navigating within Skyone Studio (except on Studio Home), use the left-hand menu and select Data Lake.

Data Lake Options

The menu on the right provides the following options:

  1. Filter

Use filters to search for the desired file. You can filter by:

  • Source

  • Tags

  • Type

  • Pattern

  • Creation date

  • Status

  • Ignore if empty

  • Recursive

  • Hidden

Select the desired filters and click “Apply". To remove filters, click “Clear filters".

  1. Create New Folder

To create a new folder in the Data Lake:

  • Click "Create New Folder".

  • Enter the folder name.

  • Click "Create".

  1. Upload file

To upload a file to the Data Lake:

  • Click "Upload File

  • In the modal, upload the desired file. Supported formats: .csv, .gzip, json, .parquet and .xlsx.

Select the groups:

Write groups also have read access.

4. Enter Tags to categorize and filter the files (optional)

Access a Directory

To access a directory, follow these steps:

  1. In the item list, double-click the desired directory

  2. Once opened, you’ll be able to view the files and subfolders inside it, along with the following information:

  • Item name

  • Status (if available)

  • Item size

  • Source

  • Created on

Delete Directory

To delete a directory, follow these steps:

  1. To delete a directory, follow these steps:

  2. A delete icon will appear to the right of the item. Click the icon.

  3. Confirm the deletion in the confirmation window that appears.

This action cannot be undone.
